Coinbase introduces real-time price alerts for any cryptocurrency it supports, available in its mobile app. This will give a user a possibility to automatically find out when the market moves on the crypto they care about most? with ?no need to go check websites or app.

Tracking crypto prices in real-time has historically required crypto investors to check a variety of websites or applications, which can be inconvenient. As a result, it can be difficult to decide when to buy or sell, or just educate yourself on market performance. Therefore, Coinbase positions its new feature as the one ‘built to meet your need for smart, automated alerts about your crypto portfolio?—?no manual work required’.

Here’s how price alerts work: Next time you update your Coinbase mobile app, you’ll be prompted to enable notifications. Once enabled, you’ll receive price alerts for any cryptocurrencies on your Watchlist. Consumers can opt into alerts for certain assets, and when the prices of those assets shift substantially up or down, you’ll receive an alert informing you of the percentage change
