The bank has introduced new in-app integrations
Starling has integrated chat platform Slack, energy switching service Bionic, and health insurance provider Equipsme with its Marketplace. These integrations enable customers to synchronize their banking with the rest of their business operations more easily.
Slack will provide Starling’s business customers with better visibility of their finances. In fact, owners and employees will get a real-time transaction alert every time they are paid by a customer or pay a bill.
It will also enable finance or account management teams to see transaction details eliminating the need for direct access to the Starling business account.
At the same time, Bionic saves customers from filling out too many business forms. It also provides automatic price-checks and reminders when it’s time to renew.
As to Equipsme, it will offer affordable and flexible health insurance for businesses of all sizes with employees being able to pay to upgrade and add family members.
We’ve reported that Starling?has raised?£40 million in a funding round led by JTC and Merian Chrysalis Investment Company Limited. This investment follows a £60 million investment in February which brought the total raised by Starling in 2020 to £100 million.
