The service didn’t bring enough profit in these countries
Uber Eats confirmed its plans to quit a number of countries including the Czech Republic, Egypt, Honduras, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Ukraine, UAE, and Uruguay.
The company revealed that these countries didn’t find a way to bring online food delivery service to another level.
Operations will cease by June 4th, except the UAE, where Uber Eats will shift to Careem, its wholly-owned subsidiary.
Despite the food delivery service is leaving these countries, Uber Rides will still be available there.
